01 / SIX KINDS OF GOAL

Track a habit the way it happens.

Check it off or count it, time it each day, ask for a number of days a week or a weekly total, log an amount in your own unit, or cut down on something with a daily allowance of slips.

02 / FAIR TO REAL LIFE

A missed plan is not a broken streak.

Rest days, a skipped day, a paused habit or a whole vacation are excused, never counted against you. A changed goal applies from today or next week, and earlier days keep the goal they had.

03 / APP LIMITS

Keep an eye on the apps that eat your day.

Set a daily maximum for an app on the weekdays you choose. Punchcard measures the time on your phone and shows it on Home beside your habits, with its own week and streak.

How app limits work ↗

A habit tracker built around the week

Punchcard is a habit tracker for Android. Each habit gets a Monday–Sunday card that fills with a punch for every day you do what you planned, with timers, counts, weekly goals, habits to cut down on and daily limits for other apps.

Log from the app, a home-screen widget, a Quick Settings tile or a reminder. A full-screen focus timer can keep the screen on, pin it and switch on Do Not Disturb for the session. The calendar, weekly recap and analytics show how a week or a month went.

Your habits stay on your phone. There is no account, no advertising and no analytics. Export a backup or a spreadsheet whenever you like, or keep copies in your own Google Drive.

Is Punchcard free?

Yes. There are no ads, nothing to buy and no account to create. It runs on Android 12 or later.

Does Punchcard work offline?

Yes. Habits, timers, reminders, widgets and app limits all work without a connection. A connection is used only for the optional Google Drive sync.

Which kinds of habit can I track?

Habits you check off or count, time per day, a number of days per week, a weekly total of minutes, an amount in your own unit, and habits you want to do less of, with a daily allowance of slips.

Does a rest day or a holiday break my streak?

No. Rest days, skipped days and paused habits are stepped over: they neither add to a streak nor break it. Pause modes pause several habits at once for a vacation, sickness or an injury.

When life gets in the way.

What are app limits?

A daily maximum for one app, on the weekdays you choose. After you create one, Punchcard asks for Android's usage access to measure the time, and shows today's minutes and the week on Home. It does not block the app.

Read about app limits.

Can I log a habit without opening the app?

Yes. The Today widget checks off today's habits, the Quick log widget and the Track habit tile in Quick Settings start one, and a reminder can start the timer or log the habit.

How do I move my habits to a new phone?

Use Settings → Backup → Export data, then Import data on the new phone, or sync both phones with Google Drive. Android's own backup and phone-to-phone transfer also carry your habits; app limits are set up again.

Read about backups.

Which languages are supported?

English, German, Spanish and Turkish, plus a system-default option. Change it under Settings → Language.

What data does Punchcard collect?

None reaches the developer. Habits, entries, notes and app limits stay on your phone, with no analytics or crash reporting. Data leaves the phone only when you export it, share a card, send feedback, use Google Drive sync or Android's own backup.
