How playing with a friend works ↗Four rummy games in one app
Rummy House is an Android card game that plays four kinds of rummy: Basic Rummy, Turkish 51 (Elli Bir), German Rommé and Gin Rummy. Each one can be played offline against computer opponents at three levels, and with a friend on a second phone in the same room. Basic Rummy, Turkish 51 and Rommé seat two to four players; Gin Rummy is for two.
It is built for people who know the game from a real table. The hand is arranged by dragging cards into rows, valid melds are outlined as you form them, and the house rules that differ from family to family are switches, not arguments. An unfinished match is saved and waits on the menu.
It is also a place to learn. A practice table teaches a turn in three steps, each game has its rules one tap away with an example drawn in cards, and optional hints mark the cards that fit a meld on the table.
The app is free and shows ads, never on the table during a hand. A one-time purchase removes them. There is no account, no chat and no betting.

Frequently asked questions
More questions in the manual ↗Which rummy games are in Rummy House?
Four: Basic Rummy, Turkish 51 (also known as Elli Bir), German Rommé and Gin Rummy. You choose one each time you start a match, and each keeps its own house rules.

Is Rummy House free?
Yes. It is free to download and play, and all four games and every option are included. The app shows ads, and a one-time Remove ads purchase in Settings switches them off for good. It runs on Android 8.0 or later.
Can I play offline?
Yes. Matches against bots work with no internet connection, and so do matches with a friend on a second phone nearby. A connection is only used for ads, the optional Play Games sign-in and the Remove ads purchase.
Can I play rummy with a friend on two phones?
Yes. One of you taps Play with a Friend → Host a game; the other taps Join a game. The phones link directly over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi in the same room, with no internet, no account and no room code. In Basic Rummy, Turkish 51 and Rommé you can add one or two bots to the table.
Follow the two-phone guide.
Is there online multiplayer?
No. Rummy House has no game server: you play against bots, or with a friend whose phone is nearby. There is no chat and no matchmaking with strangers.
Do I need an account?
No. The app asks for a name to show at your seat and nothing else. Signing in to Google Play Games is optional and adds achievements, leaderboards and a backup of your level and trophies.
How many players can play?
Two to four in Basic Rummy, Turkish 51 and Rommé, and two in Gin Rummy. Seats without a person are played by bots on Easy, Medium or Hard.
Can I change the rules?
Yes. Each game has house rules of its own: a match by score or by rounds, folding and the number of jokers in Turkish 51, Hand-Rommé and joker reuse in Rommé, unlimited melds in Basic Rummy, and Standard, Oklahoma or Gin-only knocking with Classic or Modern bonuses in Gin Rummy.
See every option.
I have never played rummy. Can I learn it here?
Yes. Start with Basic Rummy. A practice table walks you through a turn, How to Play explains each game one section at a time with an example drawn in cards, and optional hints mark the cards that fit a meld on the table.
Read about the first start.
What is Turkish 51?
A rummy game from Türkiye, also called Elli Bir, played with two decks and four jokers. Your first lay-down has to be worth at least 51 points, and the player with the fewest penalty points wins. Rummy House plays it with folding, going double with pairs and joker swaps.
Is my match saved if I close the app?
Yes. A match against bots is saved as you play and comes back under Continue on the menu, with the same cards, scores and turn.
In which languages is the app?
Eleven: English, German, Turkish, Spanish, Portuguese for Brazil and for Portugal, Arabic, Hindi, Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Korean. You switch inside the app, and Arabic is laid out from right to left.
Read about the languages.
Is this a real-money game?
No. There is no betting, no stake and no prize. Experience points and levels only unlock card designs and table backgrounds.
What data does the app collect?
There is no developer account system, no chat and no game server. Your name, settings, progress and saved match stay on your phone. With your consent, usage statistics go to Google Analytics for Firebase under a random identifier, and ads are served by Google AdMob. A match with a friend sends your name and your moves to that one phone only.
